Tomorrow at 2:45 pm in New York at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism (Lecture Hall, 3rd Floor), Al Jazeera is organizing a public (no charge) meeting hosted by Al Jazeera Empire host Marwan Bishara titled “Information Wars.”
Among those speaking will be Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Bernstein; Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman; internet expert and one of my New America Foundation colleagues Evgeny Morozov; Columbia University/Tow Center for Digital Journalism Director Emily Bell; and digital age writer Clay Shirky.
The public is invited – and this program will air at a later date – but wanted to give New York folks a head’s up.
