Bush and Blair

Julian Borger, Washington Bureau Chief of The Guardian, rang me in Florence yesterday to talk about Bush and Blair. I told him that I do not think that Bush was predisposed to giving Blair many legacy-building gifts, which is how Borger ended his piece.
I’m traveling to Athens today.
More later.

    From Borger’s piece…..
“The report even suggested that for once George Bush had to come to the prime minister’s verbal rescue in the face of the scepticism of the British press corps.”
Good God, Bush coming to someone’s “verbal” rescue. Now THERE’s an impossible scenario.

What _I_ want to know is:
How the hell do you make those travel connections?
What is your yearly travel bill?
    Do you travel 1sxt class?

I really enjoy this site, your information and opinion 🙂

The next best thing to Tony Blair, for Bush, would be a Tory government, capitalists defeating socialists. Bush could then privately say in his tongue in cheeky way that he helped overthrow a least one government for the better, heh, heh, heh.
