I have no idea what George Voinovich is about to conclude in the Bolton hearings, but already, the language he has used to frame the “bigger picture” at stake is EXACTLY the kind of discourse we should be having.
Even if he supports John Bolton, the backbone he has shown — and the principles he has outlined that should inspire Americans to think about the importance of U.S. global engagement — makes some of the other Senators look small.
I am waiting….for his conclusion, but the bottom line is that he is impressive.
