Bush, Hagel, McCain: You Can’t Go Home Again

-

How times have changed — sort of.
I realize that the above picture is not as clear as it might be. I snapped it on my cell phone camera when visiting Senator Hagel‘s office recently.
The picture shows George W. Bush hugging Senators McCain and Hagel. This kind of encounter happens all the time in DC. Even enemies have to smile, laugh, tell jokes and keep the heat turned down to some degree so as to fight another day. Today’s friends may be tomorrow’s enemies and vice versa.
But the note from Bush says:

To Chuck —
Is it a rose betwee two thorns? Nope! 3 roses —
Best wishes, George Bush

Hagel is the one who should have run for office here. McCain, by embracing Bush and Cheney, has undermined his Straight Talk magic. And Bush may have undermined them both.
Just a tidbit to chew on before I get on my flight to Berlin.

Derek obviously doesn’t have the guts to give an honest straightforward voice to his thoughts. I wonder how long Manson was able to keep his thoughts corraled in vague voiced hints and indirect insinuation.
Come on, Derek, climb out of the closet, you are not alone. Heck, theres plenty of sick bastards like you out there. Find yourself some, then you can go on a Muslim hunt, and we can read about you in the paper.

What kind of man???? An immature, myopically, ego-centric, pompously overblown with self-importance, idiotic man.
Democratz make the mistake of treating Dumbya as a ‘president” when he needs to be treated like the juvenile frat brat he is. It’s time to relieve him of the family car keys.
Derek, sometimes it’s necessary to kill lots of people to make the world a better place???? How does killing people make the world a better place?
You probably consider yourself “Pro-Life”. Stopping abortions increases the supply of cannon fodder, right?

Along these lines (Bush as “balless wonder”, that is), Frank Rich took the opportunity today to talk…..over ….and over….and over…again ….in his column ….
    about BUSH’S COWARDICE.
Way to go, Frank. Call it what it is.
On teevee….STRUTTING (you could SEE it!) into Walter Reed for his July 4 photo op with the troops….dismissing that SCANDAL …as mere “bureaucratic” snafus.
What kind of man takes a country into a completely unnecessary war based on lies and a personal agenda…..then lies to himself and everyone else about what he has done….and then looks for his place in history….believing himself to be a Winston Churchill or an Abraham Lincoln?
AND then….oblivious…..shows up among the battered heroes to be photographed?
    LOATHSOME! An EMBARRASSMENT!

Is it me, or does anyone else think it’s odd for a man to call himself a “rose”? Is “thorn” a euphemism for “prick”? Kind of puts his uniform fettish in perspective.
Calling Jeff Gannon. We can have gays in the White House, but not the military, even if they can speak many languages better than Dopey can speak English.
A rose, indeed. More like a balless wonder.

I’m votin’ for Nixon. We can just wheelbarrow his remains into the Oval Office.
At least we’d know that we were getting a crook. And, as an added bonus, he’s an already dead crook.
I mean, when compared to Monkey Boy and Darth, how much worse of a job can he do?

I wish Hagel were running too. He makes more sense on foreign policy than any of the others.
I still have no one to vote for.

Yes, indeed mostly social circle jerks and you wonder why such little substantive stuff gets done in DC ‘bubble world’.
