Just FYI, the Prince William County Democratic Committee (in Virginia) has put this really cool cook book together.
I have a recipe in it that I highlighted at TWN a while back, the “Preparing for the Daily John Bolton Battle Smoothie.”
More later.

Smoothies surely don’t need a recipe – you just busk it and take your chances 🙂

    Steve,
The name, John Bolton, given to your smoothie makes me fear a rash.
Re-name it, there may be worse to come like being
diagnosed with measles that turns out to be smallpox.

PS. You can also use different juices and ice to make it slushier.

“I am not a “make at home smoothie guy”, but I suppose I’m trainable.” POA
Well, sweetheart, do you have what is known in civilization as a B-L-E-N-D-E-R? Good! The rest is easy. Clear the clutter off the counter and make a nice clean spot for your blender, a big spoon and a place to get all the ingredients together, near the fridge (and a plug). I do a smoothie every morning at home, before facing the little kids in my classroom! I put in extra protein powder and grind up all these vitamins, so I don’t have to swallow pills. I use fresh fruit, and yogurt, sherbert or ice cream. Yummmmmmmie.
Once you get into smoothies, you will be very creative, I am sure.

And, seeing as how this thread seems a bit fancy free…….
Does any one know what the definition of a “insipid little mewling prick” is?
Well, here ya go. His name is Nathan Tabor.
If you want to post at his blog, make it a good one, you’ll only get one shot, because if you aren’t licking his butt for him, he bans you.

I might have to try Steve’s recipe. It seems I have recently acquired an addiction to Sonic’s “Cherry Creme Slush”. Trouble is, the local Sonic is totally inconsistent in it’s mixing, so one time you get one and its perfect, and the next time, it sucks. I am not a “make at home smoothie guy”, but I suppose I’m trainable.
(The figggin’ picture makes me want one, and tis ten miles to town. Thanks alot, Steve.)
