This video makes me want to learn how to count again. One… two… THREE!
    Super cute!
It must be nice to get to return home to the puppies after dealing with the gloom of world affairs.

Thanks for your note KenInParis. Your post refers to my colleague Ben Katcher’s piece. You will see that I too critiqued it. But to categorize this entire blog by that post seems overdone. Glad you reframed your thinking.
TWN has been one of the leading venues in Washington in standing against the embrace of torture techniques and against the control of the foreign policy machinery of government by the neoconservative wing of the policy establishment.
Glad you are checking in now and then — and I was in Paris a week ago. . .a cold but beautiful night and gave a talk at IFRI.
    All the best,
    Steve Clemons

in response to the shoe attack below : seems like my comment was
    “erased”.
so let me say this : it’s been a while since i visited this blog.
i’m surprised by that insipid post. has this poster ever seen anyone
die by willful abusiveness ? has he seen his country destroyed
    before his eyes ?
it seems to me the post reflect a complete cultural blindness born
perhaps of “severe washington shortsightedness”. i find it
incompetent in the context of this blog and outrageous in any
    context.
